Purpose: The Department of Japanese Language and Literature at National Taiwan University (NTU) holds the "International Symposium on Japanese Language Innovation 2021" to foster the potential of Japanese language studies in Taiwan.

The International Symposium on Japanese Language Innovation at NTU 2021" invites scholars from Taiwan and abroad to present papers on the topics of Japanese linguistics, Japanese literature, and Japanese culture to promote academic exchanges in the related fields in Taiwan and abroad.


Scope: Studies on Japanese linguistics, Japanese literature, and relevant researches in Japanese culture.

Location: Main Campus of National Taiwan University (No. 1, Sec. 4, Roosevelt Road, Taipei)

Time: October 16, 2021 (Saturday)

Presentation Time: 20 minutes for the paper, 10 minutes for the discussion, and 6,000 words (36 words x 30 lines, within six pages) for the full paper.

Ways for Submission: Please submit your paper with title, and abstract in English, Chinese and Japanese (500 words or less, written in horizontal format, with 5 key words or less) and the attached application form to the contact office (b92107049@ntu.edu.tw) by June 30, 2021.

Deadline for Full Papers: Please send the original full papers (6000 words) to our contact office (b92107049@ntu.edu.tw) by electronic file before August 31, 2021.
