The Okazaki Foundation was established in March 1990 to honor the achievements of Dr. Okazaki before his death and to pass on his spirit of praying for mutual understanding among peoples and world peace and friendship to future generations widely and forever, as well as to contribute to world peace and development by supporting human resource development in China and other Asian countries and promoting mutual understanding and international exchange.
In order to achieve this goal, the Foundation invites outstanding young people from Asian countries who wish to study in Japan, and provides them with assistance by covering their tuition fees and providing scholarships.
