I. Eligibility:
1. Outstanding local students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Those not from financially disadvantaged families or non-local students should not apply.
2. Academic and conduct scores from the previous academic year must be 80 points or above.
3. First-year undergraduates cannot apply; Master's first-year, Ph.D. first-year or transfer students should have transcripts from one of the following universities: National Taiwan University, National Chengchi University, National Sun Yat-sen University, National Chung Cheng University, National Taiwan University of Arts, or Soochow University. Those without previous academic year grades (both semesters of 111-1 and 111-2) or without a transcript from the mentioned universities cannot apply.

II. Scholarship Amount: Undergraduates: 20,000 TWD; Graduate students: $30,000 TWD.

III. Application Procedure: Please submit the application documents to the Second Office of the College of Liberal Arts (Room 245) by September 27th, 2023 and email the electronic files to dtchiou@ntu.edu.tw.

IV. Application Documents:
1. The scholarship application form.
2. Foundation's dedicated application form: Leave the recommendation reason blank; once approved, it will be recommended by the dean.
3. Front photocopy of the student ID with the 112-1 registration seal or the official "Proof of Enrollment" bought from the machine at the Registration Division/Research & Teaching Division.
4. Official transcript of the previous academic year and a certificate of conduct from this university. Graduate students taking relevant courses from Sun Yat-sen University should mark it on the transcript.
5. Explanation of financial background: Can be directly written on the application form or typed separately on an A4 sheet.
6. Proof of financial hardship: e.g., government low-income or middle-low income household certificate or the official income statement from the National Taxation Bureau for the entire family from the 2022 year.
7. If there are research reports related to Sun Yat-sen, Sun Yat-sen's relationships, cross-strait relations, or the development of the Republic of China, please attach them. Attachments:
