※Students who are not from DJLL but wish to apply for credit waiver for "Japanese(1) (2) ", "Japanese I", "Japanese II", and "Japanese III", as well as students from DJLL whose application for credits waiver of subjects do not contain "Japanese-majored courses", do not need to cooperate with the above-mentioned items, but only need to complete the school's online application (including the submission of transcripts and syllabus, and the submission of original transcripts to their departmental offices). Failure to submit complete transcripts and course syllabus is equivalent to missing information in the application review and will not be granted credit waiver.

※The student may not apply for a credit waiver by taking an advanced second foreign language course for high school students.

※Credits waiver cannot be applied through submitting the "Japanese Language Proficiency Test" certificate.

※Please refer to the website of the Department of Japanese Language and Literature for the rules of skipping (exemption).
