    • The case of being home quarantine or not receiving the result after specimen collection and testing.
    • The case of being self-health monitoring or not receiving the result after specimen collection and testing.
    • 尚未痊癒或尚未解除隔離之確診者。
    ※Anyone who is being confirmed, isolated or quarantined must report to us in advanced and download the application form to apply for contingency plan. If there is a case of private participation in the examination of each department, the examination result will be cancelled if the case is confirmed. The student will follow up in accordance with the law of Epidemic Disease Prevention and Control and other relevant regulations.
  • If any candidate who is new graduate will be staying abroad due to the epidemic before the day of examination and cannot return to Taiwan 10 days before it, they may apply to College Recruitment Commission in their high school for contingency plan after the review that is held. If the candidate is not a fresh graduate, please download the application form from the webpage of College Recruitment Commission (Click Here) and submit it (Contact number: 02-23681913). Circumstances as such that are caused by personal reasons will not be acceptable for the solutions mentioned above after this announcement.
  • If the candidate is being self-health monitoring due to the Measures for Following Up on Persons at Risk of Infection (including those being lifted from home quarantine within 7 days, lifted from home isolation within 7 days, lifted from isolation of being confirmed within 7 days, cases of being confirmed as feminine after being reported, and those who have been deemed as necessary to open an Enhanced Self-health Management Notice by Local Public Health Center), they should all attend the second stage of the oral examination except for those who are still not receiving the results yet. Candidates who meet the conditions mentioned above but not being attend on the day of examination will be regarded as absent. There is no need to submit relevant document as proof.
    • Candidates under self-health monitoring who are being asymptomatic should take the oral examination as general candidates.
    • For candidates under self-health monitor who are being symptomatic, the department that holds the examination must setup an isolated test field outside the building after receiving their application form and the result of rapid antigen tests. Candidates must login the webpage of admission in our school (Click Here) to apply for the isolated test field 3 days before (5/19) the examination day in principle. The department will have to arrange an independent traffic flow for the candidate and make sure to keep their test field in a social distance from the general test field. When the candidate arrives on the examination day, they should contact the officer in the department and enter the test field under specially assigned direction to avoid contacting with other candidates. The candidate must follow and cooperate with the relevant measures and disease prevention guidelines. One day before the screening (May 21), candidates with symptoms of self-health monitoring should have a rapid antigen test and keep a video file or "photo (please add date)" of the results, and contact the admission officer of the department first and then send it to the department (japanese@ntu.edu.tw) according to the method specified by the officer.
  • Please register in the Department office on the first floor in the Gallery of NTU History 20 minutes before your oral examination time. Please present your original copy of ID card and take the temperature when check in.
  • The maximum time for each candidate should not exceed 6 minutes. Please wait outside the audition room 10 minutes early. Please do not bring any files or personal belongings into the audition room.
  • In order to decrease the gathering of people around the audition room and reduce the risk of infection:
    • For the purpose of taking temperature and other preventive measures of the epidemic and controlling the number of people inside one room, candidates are advised to arrive at the building of the oral examination audition room within 30 minutes before the time of oral examination according to the department's regulations.
    • Candidates should wear a mask after entering the examination building and throughout the whole oral examination (except when the examiner checks their identity, candidates should take it off as instructed).
    • Candidates should monitor their own health status and cooperate with our staff in taking their temperature. If you have fever, coughing or other respiratory symptoms, you should take the inform the examiner in advance.
    • The accompanying person should not enter the classrooms or waiting areas inside the building. Please wait in the ventilated area outside the examination building.
  • The regulation of the examination might be changed due to the epidemic. Please check our admissions website and departmental websites for more information before the examination date.
