National Taiwan University Overseas Exchange Student Scholarship for the Academic Year 2021 (2021/2022)

I. Application date: From now until February 20, 110 (Sat).

II. Application Location: Office in College of Liberal Arts.

III. Qualifications for Application: Students will be selected and accepted to exchange
 abroad through the all faculties, departments, institutes and centers of the University
 for one semester and one academic year in the academic year 2021(excluding in-service
 programs and dual degree students).

IV. Scholarship quota: Faculty, departments, institutes and centers will select exchange
 students in order of their preference, with a maximum of three students, one for the primary
 and two for the secondary.

V. Scholarship amount: The scholarship amount for exchange students from National Taiwan
 University is based on the table. The countries of the exchange schools not listed in the
 table is determined separately by the Office of International Affairs.

VI. Scholarship Requirements.
 (1) Each student can apply for more than one scholarship at the same time, but only one
   scholarship can be received.
 (2) If a scholarship is offered by the school, only the scholarship of that school will be
   accepted; if the amount of the scholarship is higher than the scholarship of that school,
   the difference of the amount will be made up by the proof of that scholarship.
 (3) Priority of scholarship recipients.
   1.Students From Low-income Family to Study Abroad
   2.Acceptance of school scholarship
   3.Scholarship for limited countries, regions and fields
   4.Scholarship for exchange students from National Taiwan University

VII. Obligations of the Awarded Students.
(1) The recipient student and his/her guarantor shall complete the administrative contract with
  the school one month before going abroad and shall abide by the provisions of the contract;
  if the contract is not signed, he/she will not be able to receive the money.
(2) Within three months of the start of the exchange period, the recipient student must submit a
  study and living guide for the exchange to the donor through the school.
(3) During the exchange period, the recipient student must participate in the overseas education
  exhibition held by the university to actively promote NTU and its student exchange programs.
(4) Within two months after the end of the exchange period, the awarded students must submit a
  report on their study experience, official course records/transcripts and other necessary
  documents for write-off. If the scholarship is not submitted, the scholarship should be returned
  to the University in full within three months after the end of the exchange period.
(5) If a student who has been awarded a scholarship withdraws from school, drops off the school, does
  not return to his/her home country to complete his/her studies, or returns to his/her home country
  early without observing the agreed exchange period, the scholarship received shall be returned to
  the University in full within two months after the end of the exchange period.
(6) If the student does not receive permission to enter the university or fails to enter the university
  on time, the scholarship admission status will be cancelled and cannot be retained.

VIII. In case of natural disasters, war, strikes, unrest, epidemics, and other force majeure or
  non-accountable reasons, the Office of International Affairs has the right to deal with the situation
  in case of failure or delay in overseas exchange, which affects the scholarship rights.

IX. If there are any unfinished matters, they shall be handled in accordance with the relevant laws and
  regulations and the announcement of the Office of International Affairs.
