※Selection of university students from the Republic of China to study in Japan
To promote mutual understanding and friendship between university students from Taiwan and Japan, and to promote international cultural exchange, Japan Airlines, the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association and the China Youth Corps together organized a study tour for R.O.C. college students to Japan and select students to go to Japan for exchange.
※Dates and activities of the visit
(1) Visiting Taiwan and Japan related cultural, educational, industrial and business institutions.
(2) To hold a forum gathering Taiwan-Japan youth students.
(3) To Experience Japanese culture and lecture on special topics.
(4) family reception.

Airfare, accommodation, meals, transportation, etc. during the visit will be borne by the organizer (except for the departure formalities (including visa, insurance, etc.), personal allowance and gifts).
※Eligibility for application
(1) University students with good conduct, good health, active motivation, team spirit, and interest in Japan and international affairs.
(2) First to third year students of four-year public and private universities and technology university in Taiwan, and first year students of two-year Institute of technology, and recent graduates are not eligible.
(3) Students from all departments and under the age of twenty-five.
(4) Those who are of R.O.C. nationality and currently living in Taiwan. Those whose parents are of Japanese nationality, are not eligible for selection.
(5) Those who have been to Japan no more than twice (twice is acceptable) and whose total stay in Japan does not exceed three months (three months is acceptable).
(6) Students must have a certain level of Japanese and English language skills. (students from department of Japanese must have a level 2 (N2) on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, and students of non-department of Japanese must have a level 3 (N3) on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and an English TOEFL score of 500 or higher).
(7) Students who have participated in this program before are not allowed to re-enroll.

※Application Method
(1) Students should fill out the application form and submit it to the school. Please download the application form from here.
(2) Please send the application form to the Activities Department of Headquarter of China Youth Corps by March 26 (Mon.).
(3) The maximum number of applicants from each school is 2 for each gender (4 in total). If only one party applies, please strictly adhere to the upper limit of the gender ratio (e.g. if no male student applies, the female student's application is also limited to 2, and vice versa)

※Notes
(1) All applicants who are selected must participate in the entire process (from departure at Taipei Songshan Airport to dismissal when back to Taiwan) and are not allowed to leave or join the team in the middle of the process. Therefore, please consider carefully before registration.
(2) Those who do not have consent from their parents and school seal will not be allowed to participate in the audition (as shown in the attached application form).
(3) The application process will end on March 26th (postmark will be the proof).
(4) Please complete your absence of school leave in advance according to the screening schedule and attend the screening on time without notice.
(5) If there are any unfinished matters, they should be added.
(6) The dates and number of students may change depending on the situation.
