Japanese Corner in the first　semester in 2023 will be held every Wednesday from 13:20~14:20 on October 4th (Wed.) in the research room R106.

The communication will be in Japanese. Every student in our department is welcome to join in.

1. Target: Undergraduate and graduate　students in our department.(The department office will confirm the identity after registration.)　
2. Number of participants: One person can register for each session, but they can bring their companion to participate with no maximum number of participants.
3. Opening hours
(1) Each period lasts for 20 minutes. Japanese Corner will be suspended in midterm exams on 10/25, 10/27 and final exams on 12/20, 12/22.
(2) Pre-registration system is used. Students will not be allowed to make an appointment for the following month without prior notification of the reason for their unexcused absence after the appointment.
(3) On the 15th day of each month at 1:00 p.m., the system will open the appointment for next month If the 15th is a vacation, the system will open the next business day.

4. Contents for the Communication.
(1) Students may have conversations, ask questions in Japanese, or ask Japanese students to help correct Japanese articles.
(2) The number of articles to be checked will be limited to those that can be finished on the spot. Making Japanese students bring them back for correction will not be allowed.
(3) Only Japanese will be used during the whole process (some Chinese may be used for the freshman).
