I. Location: Department of Japanese Language and Literature, National Taiwan University

II. Description:The Department of Japanese Language and Literature at National Taiwan University is recruiting a project-based contract part-time Japanese language teacher for the academic year 2023 to teach elective courses in basic Japanese as a second foreign language. (The target audience is all students outside of the Department of Japanese Language and Literature department.)

III. Qualifications:
(1) A Master's degree or higher in Japanese language education, linguistics, Japanese literature, or Japanese culture (humanities).
(2) Candidates with rich teaching experience are preferred.
(3) Priority will be given to candidates who can teach for more than 12 hours per week.

IV. Required Documents:
1. Four copies of the resume for government employees (please refer to the government employee resume format (simplified version) here: click here)
2. Four copies of the highest degree certificate
3. Four copies of current employment proof
4. Four copies of experience proof
5. Four copies of the outline of the Japanese language courses taught in the past
6. Four copies of the Chinese and Japanese self-introduction
7. One copy of representative works or papers published within the last five years (since August 1, 2018), and four copies of the abstracts in Chinese and Japanese (about a thousand words each)
8. One copy of reference works published within the last seven years (since August 1, 2016)
※ The above documents should be written horizontally on A4 paper, divided into four copies by folder or staple, and the first page should be a table of contents. The texts of works and papers should be submitted separately. Please keep a copy of the documents as they will not be returned.
