Scholarship recipients: Students in the second year to the highest year of study in the Department of Japanese Language and Literature in the College of Liberal Arts of National Taiwan University (excluding students with extended years of study) who have performed well in the previous academic year and have not been punished. Students who have changed departments (transferred out of theDJLL) are not eligible for the scholarship.
Qualification: The student must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher in the previous academic year, and must have got at least 50% of the credits in all departmental required subjects for that grade level, and must not have any disciplinary record.
Scholarship quota: Each academic year, the Office of Academic Affairs shall calculate the number of scholarships based on 2% of the number of non-graduating students in the Bachelor Degree Program with official registration on October 15 of the previous year (rounded to the nearest whole number, and the difference shall be accumulated to the next year). Depending on the application status of the academic year, the Departmental Scholarship Review Committee will determine the number of scholarship recipients for each year, but the total number of scholarship recipients shall not exceed the number of scholarship recipients approved by the Office of Academic Affairs.
The award will be presented to the recipient once a year, and the scholarship will be the same as the full amount of tuition and fees for the previous academic year of the recipient's department.
Application documents: Fill out the application form and attach one copy each of the previous academic year's transcript, certificate of awards and punishments, and proof of family under poverty line (if any).
Application Deadline: Applications should be submitted to the Department Office by 12:00 on Friday, 10/14.
