Scholarship of International Exchange Sprout Project for Disadvantaged Students in 2018 Is Now Open for Application

I. Eligibility (to be determined at the time of application when returning back to Taiwan).
  (1) Students who are enrolled within their academic year (excluding suspended students, super senior, and dropouts).
  (2) Students from low-income families, low- and middle-income families, students with physical and mental disabilities, families with special circumstances, and indigenous students who are eligible for admission to the tuition and miscellaneous fees exemption for the current semester, students who have received the Ministry of Education's Disadvantaged Student Grant for the current academic year, and students enrolled in the University by The Hope Program.
  (3) An average of at least 60 scores (or 1.70 GPA) in the previous semester.
  (4) Each student is limited to one application per year.

II. Application Duration: September 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018 (Late applications will not be accepted)

III. Subsidy items, amount and related restrictions.
  If a student submits the relevant documents and a complete report within one month after the completion of the study abroad program, and examined by the organizer, each student will receive a subsidy of NT$50,000. The subsidy includes:
   1. Those who participate in the University's exchange student program, visiting student program, overseas summer courses, overseas short-term courses, and dual degree programs, and who have received relevant certificates from the Office of International Affairs or the respective departments.
   2. Participating in the University's overseas social service program with proof from the Office of Students Affairs.
   3. Participating in overseas International Symposium, international visits, and international competitions, with relevant certificates issued by the respective academic or administrative units.
