Japanese Night, Japanese Week

The Japanese Night and Japanese Week are held once a year and are organized by the departmental Student Association officers (second-year students). The Japanese Week is a week-long event held in the front square of Xiao-Fu, where our students make handmade Japanese desserts called “Strawberry Daifuku” and sell a variety of books about Japanese culture. The Japanese Night is an evening gala-type of performance. Under the leadership of the departmental Student Association officers, students in each grade were responsible for their own units, performing skits, making short films, dances, and orchestra performances, etc., that require them to combine Japanese culture with the contents taught in the classes. In addition to promoting the beauty of Japanese culture to the public, they also demonstrate the excellent teaching achievements of the department.
