International Exchange
List of Our Sister Schools
The first Japanese sister school with which the University began to exchange students was Meiji University in 1999. Since then, through the coordination and communication of successive chairs of the Department of Japanese, the University has added Waseda University, Soka University, Ochanomizu University, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and Keio University, with great success. We have provided more channels for our students to study in Japan for a short period of time. At present, we have 37 academic exchange schools with Japan.
Reflection of Studying Abroad from Our Students
The number of exchange students has increased from 6 in FY91 to 23 in FY97 due to the language advantage of our sister schools, the increasing number of sister schools, and the variety of scholarships offered to exchange students. The following links present and introduce the diverse lives of our exchange students in Japan, and describe their experiences in Japan. Note: The following links are only for those who have shared their experiences, but the number of exchange students in our department who have gone to Japan is actually higher.
